Publisher of the New York Times Not Sure About The Future of Print
Here is an excerpt of an interview with Arthur Sulzberger, the owner, chairman and publisher of the most respected newspaper in the world:
Q: Given the constant erosion of the printed press, do you see the New York Times still being printed in five years?
A: "I really don't know whether we'll be printing the Times in five years, and you know what? I don't care either," he says.

I read this interview today and it really hit me that the news media that are going to make it in the long run are the ones who are embracing new media outlets. The New York Times has five people working in a special development unit whose only job is to initiate and develop things related to the electronic world - Internet, cellular, whatever comes.
